How to use Meta tags in your form on Yay! Forms

Meta tags are pieces of information inserted into the page’s code that help control how your form appears when shared on social networks, messaging apps, or other channels. For your form, you can customize specific meta tags to improve the link’s appearance and attractiveness.

The editable meta tags are:

  • og:title – Defines the title that will be displayed when the form link is shared. This is the main text shown in the preview.
  • og:description – Defines the description that appears alongside the title. It gives more context and explains the purpose of the form.
  • og:image – Defines the image displayed in the link preview. A well-chosen image can help attract more clicks.

By setting these meta tags, you ensure that the form will look more professional and appealing when shared.

Adding meta tags to the form

To customize the Meta Tags of your form, simply go to the Settings section. There, you can adjust the Title, Description, and Preview Image, as shown below.
