How to Add a Logical Structure to Your Form
To add a logical structure to your form, follow the steps below:
- Access the form to which you want to add the logical structure.
- Within the open form, select the question that you want to act as the trigger for the condition.
- On the right-hand side of the screen, you will find a tab labeled "Logic." Within this logic tab, there will be a button titled "Add Rule." Click on it to insert a logical structure. In this environment, you can define the structure that best suits your form.
For example, writing "IF (your question) = Option A, Then go to (closing screen)" ELSE "IF (your question) = Option B, Then go to (closing screen 2)", as shown in the example below:
Another possible feature is to add one or more conditions by clicking "+ condition".
You can use the conditional structure 'OR' and 'AND,' for instance, 'IF (your question) = Option A, then go to (closing screen)' OR 'IF (your question) = Option B, then go to (closing screen),' as shown in the example below:
In Yay! Forms, we offer various logical options for you to use, depending on the question type. For example, depending on the type, you can use: 'is,' 'is not,' 'contains,' 'doesn't contain,' 'starts with,' 'ends with,' 'is empty,' 'is not empty,' 'is greater than,' 'is less than,' 'is greater than or equal to,' 'is less than or equal to.' In the logic conclusion section, you can use: 'Go to,' 'add,' 'subtract,' 'multiply,' 'divide,' as shown in the examples below:
We hope you enjoy this feature!
